Isaac Pryor

Isaac Pryor (Prior) was born ca 1782 in Virginia. He died sometime after 16 February 1860 in Noble County, Ohio.

Notes:
Isaac served as a Private in Lieutenant Colonel Ball's Squadron of Light Dragoons. These volunteers were commanded by Captain Benoni Pearce in 1812 - 1813. Isaac’s horse, appraised at $80.00, was killed 18 December 1812.

Isaac married Lucy Richardson on 21 May 1805 in Belmont County, Ohio. Lucy was born 11 February 1788 in Virginia, and died 16 September 1875 in Elk Township, Noble County, Ohio. Their children were:

 

Matilda Pryor born ca 1809 in Ohio; married Richard Scott

Margaret Pryor born ca 1811 in Ohio; married Reuben Powell

John Pryor born ca 1814 or 1815 in Ohio; married Elizabeth Cousins

Maria Jane Pryor born 15 April 1817 in Ohio, married John Hesson

Howard Pryor born ca 1817 - 1819 in Ohio, married Phoebe (unknown)
